Palestinian, Chinese soccer teams to play in Beijing

GAZA, July 2 (Xinhua) -- The Palestinian soccer team will meet their Chinese counterparts in a friendly match in Beijing in July, the Palestinian Football Association (PFA) said Thursday.

The Chinese team invited the Palestinian side to the match which is due to take place on July 18, a source from the PFA told Xinhua. The FPA is holding discussions with Chinese sports officials to arrange for the match, the source said. He added that the FPA is considering inviting the Chinese team to play another friendly match in the West Bank in September.
