RIO DE JANEIRO, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Fluminense tied Cruzeiro 1-1 on Sunday, complicating even further their future in the first division of the Brazilian championship.
Henrique of Cruzeiro and Kieza of Fluminense was on the score sheet.
Fluminense dropped to bottom 20th with 11 points after the match, and the team from Rio de Janeiro has put together a poor record of two wins, five ties and eight losses so far.
In the next round of play, Cruzeiro will host Sport on July 30 at the Mineirao stadium, while Fluminense will hope to turn around their run of bad luck when they travel to play Palmeiras.
